Acceptance of terms
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service. We may offer parts of the Service on different or additional terms, in which case those terms apply in addition to these.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information when you create a workspace and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your password and two-factor credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe a workspace has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service to abuse, harass, or threaten others, or to send spam or malware;
- scan, monitor, or test domains you do not own or control without permission, or in a manner intended to enable harm to those domains or their operators;
- attempt to overwhelm, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service, or to access it in ways it was not designed to allow;
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
The service
SenderProbe runs DNS, email-authentication, blacklist, SMTP, and deliverability checks against domains you specify, and reports what it finds. The Service is a diagnostic tool to help you understand and improve your own email configuration.
No guarantee of email deliverability. Deliverability depends on many factors outside SenderProbe’s control — the policies of receiving providers, the reputation of your sending infrastructure, and the content of your messages, among others. SenderProbe provides analysis and recommendations; it cannot guarantee that any message will be delivered to a recipient’s inbox.
Inbound test messages and the sandbox
The Service provides test addresses and authenticated sandbox mailboxes so you can see how receiving filters treat your mail. Messages sent to these addresses — including their headers and content — may be captured, stored, and analysed for that purpose. Do not send personal, confidential, or sensitive material to a test address. You are responsible for the content of any message you submit to the Service.
Third parties and data accuracy
Diagnostic results reflect the state of external systems at the moment a check runs: DNS records, blacklist zones, certificate chains, and the servers we connect to. Those systems can change at any time and are operated by third parties we do not control. SenderProbe reports what it observes; it does not warrant that those observations are free of error, or that they match what another tool or provider reports.
Fees and payment
Optional — no charges currently apply. During the current beta period, the Service is offered at no charge. Paid plans, billing terms, refunds, and taxes may be introduced later and would be described here before taking effect.
Intellectual property
We retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, design, and documentation. The domain data, diagnostic results, and reports generated within your workspace are yours. You grant us the limited right to process that data as needed to operate and improve the Service, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimers
Except to the extent required by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither SenderProbe nor its suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, reputation, or profits, arising out of or related to the Service, however caused and under any theory of liability. Where the law does not allow certain liability exclusions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and hold SenderProbe harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of the rights of a third party — including the unauthorized testing of domains you do not control.
Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, if your activity creates risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service or any part of it. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will remain in effect.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms, and any claim or dispute arising out of or relating to them or to the Service, are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of SenderProbe is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You and SenderProbe submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction for any such dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, give you notice through the Service. Your continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
